NOW HIRING A FULL-TIME E-COMMERCE SHIPPING AND PRODUCT SPECIALIST!

Blair Technology Group (BTG) is a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR) that specializes in the refurbishment and resale of computer equipment. We are located in Latonia, KY, inside the iconic Johnny’s Toys Building. BTG has opened a storefront inside our current location called Tech Castle. Tech Castle carries computer equipment, electronics and offers an electronics service center. The store also features the old Johnny's Toys Castle that has been reopened as the Tech Castle Birthday Club. Shifts and hours should be flexible as the stores operating hours being Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm and Saturdays 10am - 3pm.

  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to make it to work when scheduled.
  • Must be able to lift at least 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
Detailed Qualifications / Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with computer electronic components and items preferred but not required.
  • Accurately process online orders including picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including storage areas and shipping stations.
  • Gather, organize, and prepare items for listing on E-commerce platforms if no Purchase Orders are available.
  • Conduct functional testing of products from Purchase Orders to ensure they meet quality standards as well as inspect items for defects or damage before marking items to be listed.
  • Work with the General Manager and other members of the E-Commerce team to ensure highest level items are prioritized first and are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist customers that are dropping off items that need to be repaired by processing through an inbound ticket system.
  • Handle customer inquiries and general questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Responsible for opening and closing of the store; this includes, but not limited to:
    • Counting cash drawers and deposits
    • Restocking floor inventory when stock becomes low
    • Ensure the store and tech benches are clean and free of clutter
    • Secure building for closure
